Unlimited Dialup ISDN

ISDN provides data rates of up to 128 Kbps on a single twisted pair line, provided by your telephone company. These wires or channels are partitioned into sub channels: two 64 Kbps B (for bearer) channels and one 16 Kbps D (for data) channel. Each B channel can carry a separate telephone call and usually has its own telephone number. You can combine the two B channels together to form a single 128 Kbps data channel.

With Eonet's Unlimited Dialup ISDN the same services available to the unlimited analog access account are available, including the Filtered access option. New monthly accounts are subject to a one-time $25.00 setup fee. ISDN service requires a special digital line from Southwestern Bell, which the customer must order seperately through SWB. In Beaumont, the charge from SWB is around $50 per month with an installation charge that varies based on the service contract length. ISDN also requires a special modem or Terminal Adapter (T/A) which can be purchased separately, or through EONET.
