JUNE 2004

Dear Friends and Family;

Here’s a quick update and some news!

Recent Events:

*Jesus House - a week long evangelism outreach combined with many

churches throughout Germany. Hundreds were saved throughout Berlin!

*The Passion Film - various churches in our area got together and sponsored a free showing of `The

Passion´ in our local movie theater. The entire theater room was filled to maximum and we had the chance to

hand out Bibles and talk with people about God after the movie!

*CJO all night prayer - was a great time seeking God

*Our praise and worship team had the opportunity to lead a night of worship for a youth/college age group in

Berlin.

Something New:

The leadership here at CJO has decided to take a new step with the KinderHaus. We are looking into the possibility of turning the KinderHaus into a Christian Kindergarten. Within the next two weeks the final say will be given by the German government as to whether or not we are able to pursue this vision. Our leader of the KinderHaus (Andres Irmisch) feels that starting this Kindergarten will bring us closer to our over all vision for the KinderHaus. He is absolutely right! Without a doubt, it will bring us closer to our vision, allowing us to have more contact with the children in our community, their families and see them changed by the power of God. New things are on the horizon for the KinderHaus and as well for our staff and volunteers. We ask if you would remember us in your prayers in the up coming weeks and even months as many changes may be occurring.

From Cheri:

As for myself, change is also just around the corner for my life.

My second year of internship will come to an end in June. So for

the past couple of months I´ve been in prayer concerning what

the next step is that God would have me take. He has made it very

plain and clear that it is time for me to move back to the U.S. and

possibly even begin attending college again. I have received many confirmations from many people and all

feel that God is bringing my time here in Oranienburg, Germany to an end. The date when I will be moving

home is in the first part of July.

As always, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being such a wonderful support to me and the calling

of God on my life.

Blessings upon you and your families.

Love God, Love People,

CHERI
