Dear Friends, Family and Church Family:
Wow! Everything has been so awesome here in Germany and I really feel I�m doing what God created me for! I have been so blessed by the financial support you have given and I feel your prayer support daily. I prayed that the Lord would bless me with "extra" so that I can bless others and help other ministries here in Germany...and He has! I�m so thankful for you and I Praise God because your support is going farther than just my ministry. Thank YOU!
It is hard to believe that I have been in Germany for nearly six weeks. My first two weeks in southern Germany (Munich and Bavaria) were great. It was so wonderful to have the help of the Tracy family, who are veteran missionaries to Germany and Eastern Europe. They are my family away from home.
When I arrived in Oranienburg, the Senior Pastor and staff members welcomed me with a barbecue for myself and my friends that drove me up from Trostburg!! I have been warmly welcomed. It is a blessing to serve God with these people.
My first week here the Center had been asked to put on a Children's Festival for the whole community. We provided games, arts and crafts, food, music, puppet shows, etc. I even ran the cotton candy machine for a while! I sure learned how to count in German that day. It was a great opportunity and outreach to the community.
Before I came to Germany, God had spoken to my heart that I was to help in two main areas - prayer and praise/worship. Now that I am here, it is so awesome to see it all come together. In the Kinderhaus (children�s ministry), I work with the Irmisch Family. The Lord had also placed it on their hearts that one of my ministries is prayer. So, combined with praise/worship, we have started praying together more and God has been moving. We really feel that this is a new day here in the Kinderhaus and expect God to do great things. I have also had the opportunity to sing in the Oranienburg Youth Center church.
Last week we were all preparing for this weeks� children's camp - "Camp David." The main theme is "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you." The Lord is already answering prayer, moving in and through us. The kids are drawing near to God. This morning, Weds. July 31, thirteen precious children (ages 10-13) received the Lord!!
Thank you for your continuous prayer and support for me and the ministry here. Every day I'm learning more and more German. Pray that God will quicken me mentally and physically. Some days I'm not physically exhausted, just mentally tired from learning the language and trying to communicate.
