November 2003

Dear Friends and Family:

Exciting days are among us here in Oranienburg, Germany! We finally were able to move into a larger church building!! It is such a blessing from God!

This past weekend we had a church retreat. Our guest speakers, Terry and Linda King, are from the U.S. and travel all over the world teaching and ministering to different congregations. As you can imagine, it was really refreshing for me to be with some Americans again. We learned that we can live a successful and happy life without ever working for God again. The point is that we do not just work for God, but we work with God (Mark 16:20). It is simple, yet so many times we tend to go off on our own way and stop working with God. We will accomplish so much more for the Kingdom of God if we work with Him, and not just for Him. We will find rest when we take His yoke upon us.

If you remember, in my last newsletter I asked that you guys would pray for my relationship with God to deepen, for a constant filling, and for new revelation. Thank you for all those that prayed because, God really has been bringing me to new levels of faith, trust, and love than ever before. The longer I am here the more I see God expanding my territory and enlarging my effect here in Oranienburg.

It will not be long and I will be home for Christmas!!! I will be arriving in the States December 18th and staying until the end of January so I can take part as the maid of honor in my best friend, Corrie Viators wedding. The first week in February, I will fly back to Germany. Also in January, my friends and leaders of the KinderHaus (Andres and Doreen Irmisch, plus their three kids) are planning to come and visit us at Church on the Rock Beaumont. They want to come, learn, see, and experience how our church functions, especially in the area of childrens ministry. As well, they hope to visit and observe other ministries. This is something they believe God has spoken to their hearts to do. Would you prayerfully consider supporting them financially and help them get to the States? If you are interested, you can send it to COTR under my name and designate it for Irmisch. It will be deposited into my account and I will give the money to the Irmisch family.

I wish you all a wonderful November and a blessed Thanksgiving Day! James 1:17 says, Every good and perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. You are all such a gift from God...

Much blessings and love, <>< Cheri <><
