| PICS FOR THIS PAGE ARE LOST AND NEED TO BE RETAKEN!! The first day I got it I took the radio out of my Celica and put it in the truck. Its a Rockford Fosgate if you wonder.
This is my third box I built for it and it fits rather nicely. Its totally custom and designed by me. Its built for 2 10's, down fired, and the box is ported. The reason for the console is because I needed the extra volume to match what I needed for a ported box. Sounds excellent for just 10's. It even has a Plexiglas window on each side and a blue neon that lights up the inside of the box for night driving. Looks great.
The first thing I did was put the K&N FIPK on it. Gave it a nasty "sucking" sound from under the hood.
After that I put a throttle body spacer on it. Come to find out that it really doesn't help on 99 and up model truck but I already had it so what the heck. When I put the TB spacer on, it brought my air intake tube out an inch and right in the way of my cooling fan. No prob......I just added an electric fan.
When that was all finished I had to get some exhaust on there to drowned out the sound the intake makes. I just put a 3 inch pipe from the collector back and tied it into a 3inch inlet dual 2 1/2 outlets Flowmaster. I love the sound but if the need be my speakers can overcome the exhaust. |
