The Power of Language
"We shall know the Truth and the Truth will set you free."These words are powerful to me as I walk my path. I have become so aware of the power of language in our daily lives as we are bombarded from all sides with media, news, entertainment and personal interaction with each other. I know that I have not taken the time until recently to filter information and make sure that I discern the meaning of a phrase or particular words. Now I listen with new ears and an understanding heart as these words are spoken and hear them with new meaning. I listen and watch how these words are being used to manipulate our consciousness. The words we speak can create our reality. They can make the difference in the kind of day we have, in the kind of life we have. They effect the way we interact with each other. Words have energy and carry vibration. These vibrations have powerful effects on us at the unconscious level.
Here are some words your consideration with the meanings that I have come to understand and resonates with myself.
FEAR: the opposite of love. The lack of understanding or TRUTH.
The opposite of love is not hate, it is fear. Fear not, for to do so only gives fear power it does not deserve. As we point to anything and say that is bad, we have placed an energy around it that gives it life. Even as we attempt to walk away and separate yourself, it follows you because there is a link to your own energy from which it gained this life. These energies then become very real indeed as the power they now hold is equal to our own in all respects. They are in fact offspring of our own thoughts. Fear is the lack of understanding and Love is the abundance of it.In learning to use fear as a tool, view it as an emotional signal that there is simply missing information. First feel the fear and learn to see the fear as an opportunity for advancement. Then step into that opportunity with quiet resolve as it presents itself. Once you have felt the fear and moved on, it no longer has power to deter you from your joy. Do this often and soon instead of feeling the fear in the usual way you will feel excitement at the opportunities about to unfold. Contrast this feeling with that of love. Fear is the direct vibrational opposite of the emotion love. When you are in the state of Love, all is available to you and there is no lack of understanding. See this as the ebb and flow of the ocean, both having their rightful place and use.
EVIL: the absence of something. The ancient Hebrew word for evil is AVEN, which means "Nothing".
The enigma of what we call evil is misunderstood. So often this power is misdirected. The laws that govern the power do not dictate the direction the power is focused. Here on Earth we have free choice or free will. Many on the here on Earth view the lack of light and give it life and power by calling it darkness. This darkness does not even deserve the word for it is not something to be described. It is the absence of something. It is an illusion created by polarity which is a necessary component of Life. Without contrast it would not be possible to define that which we call Light. The interesting part to us is that we are so powerful that we easily create this thing that we call evil. It is only a reflection of our own fear that makes it so. This is truly a testament to our powers of creation. The lesson for us is to not give it any power. By not engaging our emotions with it, that which we may perceive as "evil" dies from lack of energy which would otherwise feed it.
OCCULT: One of my favorite words
This word usually is misunderstood or misinterpreted and has many negative connotations attached to it. But in looking into the true definition and the roots of this word there is nothing negative about it. It refers to Esoteric Wisdom which when understood carries much power in its application of the higher truth within the sacred writings of all great religions throughout the world from the beginning of time. These truths are necessarily hidden from the mundane world and will only be revealed to those individuals who sincerely desire and prepare themselves through purificiation of the body, mind and soul. This allow the consciousness of the individual to be elevated and opened to receiving this knowledge. This is called GNOSIS.

Again this word has been misunderstood and has many negative connotations attached to it. In its true definition I find this word filled with hope, promise and expectation.SIN: Not having or following the Divine TRUTH.
We have created this great time by our actions on many levels. Now is the time when we must step forward and accept our own empowerment fully. Understand that we are in charge of every moment of our lives and the events we see around us are only reflections of what we have allowed in our thoughts. Direct those thoughts as we would the pieces on a gameboard. We must never again give away our power on any level. This is the reason we must use discernment in all areas of our life and be well practiced in the art of listening for the answers within. Filter through our own hearts and take only what resonates within, for this is the form of listening that will connect us with our Divine Self and purpose and the Divine Will of our Creator which is our Power.Ilumani
