Well well....this is what has been eating my money and time for a few years. I got this thing when I was a senior in high school as a project car. The motor it came with was a very, very tired GM 229. Not exactly what I under the hood. We pulled the front of the car up to a tree and floored it and it barely spun the tire......shame shame. I'm not saying anything about the 229, but this one was about to bite the dust.
Those Torque Thrust II wheels sure do change the look quite a bit.
A few weeks later I ran into another one sitting behind a building. I asked the owner about it and he said that it had a 350 in it and a Grand National rear end. I got it for 500....not bad for a motor, rear end, some interior pieces, spare glass and body parts. After calling in the numbers on the engine, I found out that it was really a 305. Oh well, its what I got, so ill do what I can. |
